Riccardo Montecucco

Born in 1995, Riccardo studied Chemical Sciences at the University of Pavia. In 2019 he obtained his Master’s Degree in Chemical Sciences specializing in Physical Chemistry. His experimental thesis work focused on Operando XAS and RIXS characterization of a Cobalt-based molecular photocathode for water splitting and was conducted in collaboration with research groups from CEA (Grenoble).

After one year of plant design, in October 2020 Riccardo joined the PVsquared2 group as a PhD student with a scholarship called “Perovskite based 2D and 3D solar cells” in collaboration with Eni S.p.A.
